VASSAR’S NEW SINGLE “LOVE IS A BEAUTIFUL THING” IS MAKING A SPLASH
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Universal Records South recording artist Phil Vassar is gearing up for his first ever acoustic tour sponsored by Rip It Energy Drink. Phil will kick off the nation-wide tour on January 11 in Tucson, AZ at the Fox Tucson Theater. He will be joined by country music artist and label-mate Jennifer Hanson who’s single, “Joyride,” can be heard now on radio. Vassar’s new single “Love Is A Beautiful Thing,” from his forthcoming release Prayer Of A Common Man, impacts radio next week.
“I am excited to be announcing my upcoming acoustic tour. Getting back to my roots is something I have wanted to do for quite some time. Getting close to my fans and presenting my music in a storytellers style show is going to be invigorating and something I hope my fans will enjoy,” says Vassar from a vacation with his children in Florida.
This Virginia-born singer/songwriter has made his mark in Nashville as an acclaimed performer and musician. Known not only for his knack for hit songwriting, but for his compelling and highly entertaining skills on the piano, Phil has achieved a long list of Top 20 hits on country radio, including 9 #1 songs throughout his career. He is the only artist in the last decade to have his first 7 singles reach the Top 15. A few of Phil’s accolades include two time ASCAP Songwriter of the Year, Billboard Magazine Top New Country Artist, Billboard Country Songwriter of the Year, Music Row Magazine Breakthrough Artist of the Year, and The Academy of Country Music Top New Male Vocalist of the Year - just to name a few. You may have also seen Phil on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Today Show, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Jimmy Kimmel Live, CNN Headline News and many others.
